Title: Performance Cortex A7 vs Cortex A53 64-Bit
Post by: barkbomes9 on October 11, 2021, 09:35:53 AM
Hello, I would like to ask you, what CPU is faster?

2 Ghz Quad Core ARM Cortex A7 CPU. R40. (Banana Pi M2 Ultra)

or

1.2 Ghz Quad-Core ARM Cortex A53 64-Bit (Banana Pi M64)

That Cortex A7 CPU is 32-Bit (I think) but has higher clock speed 2 GHz than192.168.0.1 (https://l/) router login (https://routo/) 192.168.1.1 (https://1921ink/)
Cortex A53 CPU with 1.2 GHz, but Cortex A53 is 64-Bit, so I don't know what is faster in real world scenario.

Cortex A53 is overall the better chip.

We have boards with both chip sets. Olimex A64-OLinuXino board has A53 chip and our range of A20-OLinuXino-X boards have A7 ones.

Define "real world scenario"!! LOL

All depends on YOUR usage.
