I hoped that there will be some fix after so long time. I have this problem in newest image A20-OLinuXino-buster-base-20210707-172415.img.
What is the speed that you reach? Can you provide more info?
The speed is very variable. From 1 B/s to 32kB/s.
Connections to ssh server can not be open for long time because they are dropped.
This problems are present only during 1gbps connection. Everything is working good if I change switch port to 100mbps.
Interesting, can you provide more details about your LIME2 board:
1. When did you approximately purchase it?
2. What is the printed hardware revision?
3. If you can identify the Ethernet chip that would also be of great help?
This is not LIME2 board. I have written this answer to older thread where was mentioned problem with 1GB ethernet and it was moved to this new thread.
I have board A20-SOM rev.D connected to A20-SOM-EVB rev.C. This devices has been bought at web page https://www.rlx.sk in year 2015.
Can you get a full boot log with that image and upload it somewhere I want to take a look. Make sure the initial boot is visible.
I feel like the board doesn't get properly recognized by the Olimage image. Maybe it has no EEPROM.
