Hi

Just a question that will probably seem silly to many.

Can simply plug an external hard drive in USB or will there be power problems?

If the power supply of your A20 board allows it, and if the hard drive can get properly powered by the UBS - it should work.

What exactly is the hard disk you have in mind? Maybe I can check its specification.

I have several disks available. By order of preference
* WD 500 Go WD5000LPVX - 75V0TT0 -- 5VDC : 0.55A
* WD 320 Go WD3200BEVT - 80A0RT0 -- 5VDC : 0.55A
* WD 160 Go WD1600BPVT - 00JJ5T0 -- 5VDC : 0.55A
* HITACHI 80 Go HTS5411680J9SA00 -- 5V 700 MA
