Title: Buster not possible to set LCD
Post by: Acse on September 19, 2020, 06:48:10 PM
Hi Everyone,

I try to set up LCD on A10 with http://images.olimex.com/release/a10/ buster_base image. It failed the uboot way and the olinuxino-display way.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Acse

This is correct. Currently there is no LCD output support for A10 boards in the mainline images. It is in our TODO list, we are working on it.

I hope the wait will not be in vain.
In the meantime, is there an alternative (constructed) image (I haven't seen one with stretch for example)?

I hope, hope, hope . . .  ;D

I don't know what are you taking about. LCD displays work with latest images for A10.

If your display doesn't start, then run script:

olinuxino-display

to enable your display.

OK, I will try again this week with more constructive questions.

Merci !

Hello

Everything works, the problem was me.
When the LCD and HDMI connectors are connected, with the HDMI monitor turned off, the LCD display is disturbed.
EDIT
But when both connectors are plugged in, both displays powered, the output set to hdmi,
then the hdmi display is not disturbed.

All that remains is to indicate this in the user manual.

best regards
