The official images include a U-Boot command "olinuxino monitor" for selecting the LCD.

I am building my own Armbian image and would like to have this available, but it is not included in the default U-boot built by the Armbian build scripts.

Is there source available to build a separate U-boot image that includes the monitor selection option?

We switched to own Olimage images. The stuff about monitors can be seen here:
