Title: A13 hangs on boot, can anyone help please?

Downloaded the official olimex image
A13_debian_34_90_WIFI_RALINK_GCC_GPIO_X_I2C_100KHz_UVC_TS_FTDI_3G_video_accell_release_10.img
and copied it onto sd card, but boot hangs every time.
During boot sequence the green onboard led is on and the tux logo is shown for some seconds on vga output, but finally the led goes off and no more vga output.
Board is a A13-OLinuXino-WIFI w/ Hynix RAM and NAND and is well powered (12V / 4A).
Tried different sd cards - same effect.
Someone any idea what's going wrong?
