Basically the difference of the Flash memory - eMMC vs NAND is the reason for different images. NAND memory has no support in mainline kernel. eMMC has.

For T2-OLinuXino-LIME-e4Gs16M-IND use the mainline image from this folder: ftp://staging.olimex.com/Allwinner_Images/A20-OLinuXino/1.latest_mainline_images/bionic/images/

For A20-OLinuXino-LIME-n8G it is recommended to use older sunxi kernel image 3.4.103+ (since there is NAND memory support). Torrent here:: https://www.olimex.com/wiki/images/6/6e/A20_Lime_debian_3.4.103_Jessie_2G_release_7.torrent

If the NAND memory is not important, you can use the same image as the T2-OLinuXino-LIME-e4Gs16M-IND.
