Title: What do you think about (socketed, not soldered) eMMC modules
Post by: xemilo on June 25, 2019, 03:36:58 PM
Hello,
Pine64, hardkernel (odroid) and maybe others offer some of their boards with such.

Whay you think about them ?
Pros: upgradeability
Cons: not standardised / no compatibility (you got to make and support your own)

Edit: friendlyelec/friendlyarm (NanoPi) too

We would be considering same approach for future designs.
