Title: 3.3V trail when battery voltage is low?
Post by: PaddleStroke on September 04, 2017, 06:34:02 PM
Hi,
On the A13 PCB, when using the battery manager:

The AXP209 output IPSOUT is battery voltage right?

But then what happens when battery voltage is low ( 3.1V for example) as the 3.3V buck (SY8008C) will not be able to output 3.3V, but only 3.1V.

I was just wondering if it was not a problem for the 3.3V power inputs.

Thanks

Usually the AXP209 takes care of this stuff automatically, you don't have to worry. Maybe check the configuration in the fex file if there is a software way to set battery cutoff thresholds.
