Title: about stm32-p107
Post by: rifo on June 26, 2016, 10:39:36 AM
Hello,

I have ordered a STM-P107 and going through the documentation now.

Has anybody ported the LwIP_UDP_echo_client example in STM32CubeF1 to STM-P107?
Do you think that it would prove to be difficult? Also I don't have IAR and would like to switch to Keil.

comments would be appreciated
thanks

ps:  I have a project where I need ETH and USB. stm32F107 was the cheapest arm chip that I have found. However it's from an old family.
Can you please also comment whether there are better alternatives from Olimex?

Hello,

One more question,  are there also PCB files for STM32-P107 ?

On the webpage I can only see the schematics.

Thanks

Hey rifo,

I can't respond to the first queries about STM32CubeF1 and Keil since we are not familiar with these software products. About the board design files - Olimex STM32-P107 is not an open-hardware board. We distribute just the schematics in PDF format.

Only boards marked with the blue open hardware logo have the source design files provided. For example, STM32-E407 is an open-hardware board: https://www.olimex.com/Products/ARM/ST/STM32-E407/open-source-hardware

Best regards,
Lub/OLIMEX
