Title: [SOLVED] Connecting all 5 network ports
Post by: wouter on April 14, 2016, 09:45:34 AM
Is there someone who has successfully connected all 5 network ports to the rt5350f module?
Because i am not able to get our custom board working stable with all ports.
Especially port 1 is behaving weird, when connecting a cable it can take a few second before it reacts
if it reacts at all.

I want to determine if it is a hardware error or software.

The problem is an hardware issue.

For port 0 and port 4 there are resistors placed on the rt5350f module it self.
On the evb there are pads placed to also place resitors for these ports.

For our custom board we copied the ports schematic of the evb for port 1, 2 and 3.
But because their are no resistors placed on the rt5350f module for port 1, 2 and 3 these ports are not working stable.

We solved the issue by placing resistor on the pads we had provided.

I too want a breakout for ports 1-3. Would you mind making the gerbers or even just the schematics available please?
