Hallo,
when I connect my JTAG-TINY-V1 to an USB port on my Windows 10 laptop
the JTAG-TINY shows up in the Device manager under the heading "other units".
It says "driver not installed" and I try to update the driver.
Then it says:
A driver was found but a problem occured.
There is no hash value in the catalog file.
The file is probably damaged or manipulated.
I have used the driver recommended in:
https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=662.msg2741#msg2741
My questions are:
1. Is this driver supposed to work with Windows 10?
2. If so. How to procced?
3. I also use ICC430. Does that make any difference?
Thank you!
Staffan
Hey,
The driver is not signed. Disable the driver signature enforcement temporarily and then install the driver. The driver installation should work after you have disabled this signature enforcement. There are a lot of guides and videos showing how to disable driver signature enforcement available online.
It seems to work here:

I used the drivers you mentioned.

Thank you!
Now it works both in IAR and ICC430.
I followed your advice and it was not enough.
However the IAR Kickstart asked if I wanted to flash the TINY-V1
and after doing that it all worked.
