Title: A20, Android and LCD10TS - touchscreen pressure density
Post by: Claus on February 03, 2016, 07:20:16 AM
Hello,

all products are bought at Olimex.

after deploying the official Android Image and callibration I recognised that
the pressure density for using the Touchscreen is very, very bad/strong.
I  fear to break the screen by touching on it.

How can I decrease the needed touch pressure?

regards
Claus

Hey,

We haven't tested playing with the values but there are such parameters in the configuration files. It is set to maximum already. Search for "rtp_para" here: http://linux-sunxi.org/Fex_Guide (http://linux-sunxi.org/Fex_Guide)

Editing Android can be somehow tricky. Refer to this article on how it can be done: https://www.olimex.com/wiki/How_to_edit_prebuilt_Android_images (https://www.olimex.com/wiki/How_to_edit_prebuilt_Android_images)

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about that much - higher pressure is normal for resistive touchscreens.

Best regards,
Lub/OLIMEX

Hi,

thank you for your hints.
I have installed app "sgs touchscreen Booster". After set settings, I think it is much better now.
