Title: A10 NAND Boot to Linux SUCCESS! Or is it?
Post by: vaid on December 01, 2015, 07:23:41 PM
Ok.

So being deterministic turns out to be a good thing.

I think I managed to boot to NAND (no Android) and I just wanted to make sure
that I have actually succeeded.

I followed the instructions found on the following link: https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=3251.0

nd a couple of other articles:
and I see a terminal thingy which is kind of familiar to me.

I've attached a screenshot to show you guys what I see.

If this is a good sign then I'll make a new thread with instructions on how I succeeded doing this.

Please let me know if I have indeed managed to boot in to Linux.

Remember, what you see in the screenshot is boot from NAND, not from SD card.

EDIT:

I posted my process here: http://randomstuffidosometimes.blogspot.se/2015/12/omilex-a10-olinuxino-lime-4gb-boot-from.html

Give me comments so I can refine it.
