Title: is A10 OLinuXino CE marked ?
Post by: pcastet on October 07, 2015, 03:47:33 PM
Hello I wonder if the A10 OlinuXino card is CE marked ?

And if so, if using and bundling it with a box around it, a power unit, and a couple of peripherals, also themselves CE marked, allows to market it as a new product, itself CE marked ?

Elsewhere to have to go though a whole CE marking certification process is feasible, but awfully long and costly!

Therefore to have such product CE marked, and which keeps its CE marking even if packaged with other (serious) stuff would be a tremendous help to be able to launch new products (for A10, or any OlinuXino card model by the way). Elsewhere the CE marking is a terrible barrier for using such card in a quick development process.

What do you think about that ?
Thx!

Patrice

I think any product combining parts has to get its own CE mark but just read up on the rules.
