Title: Using Active Electrode as Passive
Post by: ellecieffe on September 28, 2015, 03:03:30 PM
Hi, it is a good idea using active electrode as passive?
Maybe bypassing the opamp?

Thanks

Hey,

I can't seem to comprehend this question. Care to explain?

If you want to use an active electrode for the feedback connection (DRL) - it would not work.

Best regards,

Hey,

thanks for the reply.

I would like to use the olimex active electrodes as mere passive electrodes, no plugging them into the power line.

N.B. I'm not using Olimex EEG-SMT

thanks

But we have passive electrodes EEG-PA here: https://www.olimex.com/Products/EEG/Electrodes/EEG-PE/open-source-hardware (https://www.olimex.com/Products/EEG/Electrodes/EEG-PE/open-source-hardware)
