Title: Dual display
Post by: jacko on September 23, 2015, 08:39:23 PM
1. Is it possibility to connect on Linux to rk3188-som-evb - two display one on HDMI, second on LCD - and use different images on both screens ?

2. Is possibility to connect to the LCD connector - standard vga monitor?

3. Is any other possibility on RK3188-som-EVB (linux) - to connect two external monitors (not olimex lcd display) at the same time and display on it different images?  Maybe is possibility to connect usb - vga card ?

1. I think no. ITE IC on SOM has input signal from LCDC connector.
I think it is possible but both displays will have the same output picture.
I will try it.

2. Definitely yes. I will do it. Watch my progress here:

3.Could you provide any info about usb - vga card?  It is the first time I hear about such device.
3.1. Can't understand what you mean:
" to connect two external monitors (not olimex lcd display) at the same time and display on it different images"
