Hi All,

I have connected LCD1x9 display to OLIMEXINO-328 board, but contrast is very high so even the segments which are not ON are visible. Is there way to adjust the contrast?

Hey,

It seems that there is no way to change the contrast of MOD-LCD-1x9. Only I2C and power pins are connected to the UEXT, indicating that there is no hardware control of the contras. The datasheet of the controller doesn't indicate for a software control also. Hi!

MOD-LCD-1x9 uses a PCF857DU style controller. I believe the original PCF857DU can control contrast by writing to the right register. However not sure if the used clone is compatible in this regard.

@poivan: Which software are you using to control your MOD-LCD-1x9?
