Title: Status of Linux kernel modules on the A10Lime
Post by: catlazer on February 23, 2015, 03:40:17 PM
Has anyone had any experience adding specific kernel modules to a kernel to use with an A10Lime?
If so, what were the results?

I'm interested to know which modules work (or not!) and what wider features you were trying to implement to necessitate "rolling your own" kernel.

The Olimex documentation says:
"With this command (menuconfig) you can add or remove different modules for the different peripherals in the kernel. Be careful when use this as this may cause the kernel to not work properly."
But doesn't say which modules to avoid.

Thanks.

There is no issue or something to compile extra modules for the A10Lime, but you need some knowledge from what you are doing but this is always the case. and keep a backup from the kernel or at least .config from a configurations that works so you can role back.
