Title: Using Other LCDs With A13
Post by: izzni on February 23, 2014, 09:26:15 PM
So I'm working on a project where an sunlight viewable LCD is critical. I'd like to try using a Pixel Qi, but that uses LVDS, and would require a converter board (isn't that big a deal, but it's an extra $35 per board).

In anycase, I'm hoping to use a LCD like this Samsun 7in sunlight viewable one:

It has a 24 bit RGB interface. This looks vaugley like the interface output of the A13-OLinuXino's LCD extension.

My question is this:
What are the general things I'd need to do to accomplish hooking this, or any other LCD up to A13?

Thanks!
