Title: Shield EKG-EMG Arduino
Post by: Jose Aparecido on February 11, 2014, 01:35:51 PM
Hi all,

I'm trying some tests with EKG-EMG Shield for Arduino, I bought the product and model you find on this link:
https://www.olimex.com/Products/Duino/Shields/SHIELD-EKG-EMG/

I put the electrodes as follows:
L on the left arm - wrist
R and D on right arm - the arm and forearm

I have a question, I'm picking up the signal seems ECG, ie, it shows "Heels" regular, although respond to change when I move the arm.

Note: I'm using to monitor the Token Software ElecGuru when using some other application, the sign seems to be understood.

I would like some advice, if you have any documentation that better detail the operation of the Shield (Plate and Electrodes), in addition to the user manual available?

What do I need to know now then would change some setting in Shield (jampers) to use for EMG? or would you have another software to capture the signal?

As I said before I'm sorry, my English is not very good ...

Thank you in advance for any help,

thank you

Hi Jose
Your English is good. But no one answers your questions.
I am concerned about this site!
I have bought an Olimex ECG/EKG Shield - I need help - but no one seems to have an answer!
