Title: Cross Works doesn't recognize STM32-P103 (OLIMEX)+JTAG LPT1
Post by: Houston on October 31, 2012, 02:30:55 PM
Good afternoon!

I've recently  bought a development board STM32-P103  (OLIMEX) and a programmer JTAG (for parallel port LPT1) also from OLIMEX. I tried it with Cross Works Rowley 2.2, but, unfortunately my device is not recognized by the software. Power supply is established via a USB port. Could anyone advice me how to figure out? :(

Best,

Houston

Hey Houston,

What operating system you use? You know about the LPT support in Windows 7 and Windows 8?

Regards,
Lub/OLIMEX

I use two different Win XP machines and I tried the device on both. LPTs are fine..So, according to Your manual I don't have to modify anything to make it work. But I still have the trouble.

Could you help me figure out this problem, dear Support team?  My board has one difference from the board description in the manual- I have an additional D2 diode (may be this uptated board wasn't checked properly in Your quality service).
