Post by: yashvant on January 03, 2014, 12:55:28 PM
hi everyone,
I'm using Development Board of Olimex Mod-Pulse.
It has SP02 range 93 t0 100.
is it possible to reduce this range?
if yes, to what extent i can reduce it?
I'm referring the Mod-Pulse code.

Hey there,

Do you mean SaO2? This is the term used in the official documents (thishttp://www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa274b/slaa274b.pdf (http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa274b/slaa274b.pdf) and this http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa458/slaa458.pdf (http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slaa458/slaa458.pdf)).

The normal SaO2 values in humans is between 95% and 100%. If you have to change the formula refer to the first document linked above - it contains the explanation of the thought process and formulas used.

Best regards,
