Post by: sagt3k on December 03, 2013, 09:22:08 AM
Can You think to developing a new DUINOMITE with new PIC32MZ to 200mhz? With the new firmware of MMBasic?
Thanks

Would Geoff support it?

Hey,

As JohnS said we are not aiming at DUINOMITE at the moment. We would probably add MPIDE compatibility.

More info on Olimex plans for PIC32MZ might be found here: http://olimex.wordpress.com/2013/12/11/do-you-have-enough-program-memory-for-your-next-pic-project/ (http://olimex.wordpress.com/2013/12/11/do-you-have-enough-program-memory-for-your-next-pic-project/)

Best regards,
Lub/OLIMEX

Sounds good - it should mean MPLAB X works, too.

I guess the Pinguino people would be keen.  Also Serge (retrobsd).

The extra RAM will be very useful.

I saw you are aiming for the ECG version of the PIC32MZ. If you take the ECH or ECM version also 2 CAN interfaces are included and also I could use them as replacement for the Duinomites. Would this be possible?
