I like this board but I can't find it for sale anywhere.
You can solder around a dozen different FPC connector types to it (one at a time). But it is the matrix that makes it useful. You can use that matrix to create any pin out you want on the 0.1in header.
I think the matrix is on both sides. That's why there are two solder pads. Other side is for the other row in the 0.1in header.
