Title: Why Micro's manual says "1 A maximum"
Post by: flavigny on October 19, 2012, 08:05:52 AM
Hello,
in section 6.6, I read "you should provide 5V at 1 A maximum"
Does-it mean that for some internal reason, it is wrong to use a bigger power supply (eg 2 or 3 A).
I ask this because my work include a lot of external 5V pieces (hub, gsm modem, ...); so may-I use ONE big common supply or it is better to design TWO independent ?
Regards.
PO.

Hello flavigny,

Just the board can handle 1A of electric current. Make sure that no bigger current than 1A passes through it.
