Title: EMG Code
Post by: p_ama on September 04, 2013, 02:18:07 PM
Hi everyone. I've just received my Olimex Shield-ekg-emg and some electrodes. I need to use it to measure the mucles electrical potential prior and post exercise. I was wondering if anyone have some tips on how to get it done. I would like to know:

- how can I connect the electrodes for best readings of muscle electrical potential;
- a simple code that will allow me to extract the values as a function of time. I was using Matlab with Arduino, so if you use matlab even better, otherwise it will be ok.

Please help!

Thanks

Hey p_ama,

Which muscles more specifically?

We have demo code that works with your board and Arduino and ElectricGuru softwarehttps://www.olimex.com/Products/Duino/Shields/SHIELD-EKG-EMG/resources/ShieldEkgEmgDemo.zip (https://www.olimex.com/Products/Duino/Shields/SHIELD-EKG-EMG/resources/ShieldEkgEmgDemo.zip).

I've also seen number of demo project in youtube.

Best regards,
