Title: ST Boot loader the same as factory

is the boot loader the factory installed one or is another bootloader installed.

Hey BJFreeman,

The factory bootloader. Note that for some boards you might need to change the jumpers configuration (and/or press a button) to be able to connect to your PC application.

my focus is the OLIMEXINO-STM32 and using the CAN boot referred to in CD00264321.pdf.
in the OLIMEXINO-STM32+CAN_networking_demo/CAN_DEMO/can_cnfg.h it shows CAN1 remap.
so I am trying to figure out how to implement the CAN bootloader
