Title: Use Raspberry Pi's tactics
Post by: ST on March 29, 2013, 02:00:04 PM
QuoteWe wanted to make rock bottom low cost boards but now we re-consider that having NAND on board is good if you want to run Android 4.1 (yes Allwinner have Jelly Bean SDK for A10S which we wait to arrive)

Use Raspberry Pi's tactics - make it as cheap as possible in order to make headlines - and do not include NAND. I assume most people use it with Linux anyway.

If there is an update on the release date, please let us know.

I would not be the candidate to answer this question but I accidentally found the A10S in the mouser catalog just now. It seems that they would like to sell at around 48 eur, pretty much the same price they sell the iMX233 Olinuxino (maxi), and state the expected delivery in 7 weeks.
