Dear all,
I found the USB-NeoHub (https://www.olimex.com/Products/RaspberryPi/PICO/USB-NeoHub/open-source-hardware) product on the website.
For my next project, I will need a USB hub anyway, so I was considering whether to get a normal USB-HUB (https://www.olimex.com/Products/USB-Modules/Hub/USB-HUB/) or the OSHW USB-NeoHub.
The question is: what is the difference between the two? Apart from the USB-A or USB-C plug, clearly. Can I use the USB-NeoHub as a normal USB-HUB?
The difference is the chip used inside and their compatibility with the TinyUSB software that Neohub uses. But this doesn't matter for general-purpose usage.
If you are looking for general-purpose hub, the USB-HUB is just fine.
If you are looking for USB hub specifically for Neo6502, then it is recommended to use USB-NeoHub.
