Title: Android not go beyond the initial screen that says "A20"
Post by: vigocarpato on April 10, 2017, 10:21:53 AM
Hello

I bought an Olinuxino LIME2-eMMC with the 7" touch screen.

I have written with the PhoenixSuit the android image (A20_Lime2_android_4_22_NAND_LCD7_HDMI_release1.img) in the device memory, but when it boots it does not go beyond the initial screen that says "A20" logo.

With the image for the SD card, it works.

What could be happening?

Thanks

Pepe

Hey,

The images were made for NAND flash memory (e.g. boards A20-OLinuXino-LIME2-4GB). These images would not run properly on boards with eMMC flash memory (e.g. A20-OLinuXino-LIME2-eMMC).

I've notified the software developers about that issue. It affects not only LIME2, but all boards that we have released with eMMC (latest hardware revision of A20-OLinuXino-MICRO would also come with eMMC instead of NAND; again the Android would not work).

Best regards,
