Title: A20 Lime FCC Approval
Post by: Howard on December 16, 2016, 06:06:36 AM
Has anyone tried to get FCC Part 15 approval for a device with an A20 Lime inside? We tried but there is a very large signal at 960 MHz which couldn't filter out.

Does anyone know where this is coming from on the board so we can do better filtering?

John,

I don't know. I will change the clock and see. It will take some time as we have to order some RF test equipment.

Thank You

There are some ideas in this thread: https://www.olimex.com/forum/index.php?topic=2205.0

Generally, if the noise is related to the power supply or the power conversation units try using different methods for powering the board.

Consider just wrapping the whole board in solid case or shield to lower the noise coming out of it.
