Title: btrfs
Post by: d4 on July 19, 2016, 10:30:01 AM
dear olimex,

I have around that BTRFS is a good choice for embedded machines with slow SSD (such as microSD) , in particular BTRFS has a specific 'ssd' option, and (reportedly) O.S. runs faster when the BTRFS transparent compression is enabled.

Did you ever do any tests?

Would it be possible to have BTRFS enabled in the kernel in the next official Debian image?

thanks, a.

you should look to Armbian images, BTRFS is already enabled by default.
