Title: LCD-OLinuXino-4.3TS and Olimex A20
Post by: gatgat on March 22, 2016, 02:51:01 PM
Hi,

I recently bought a LCD-OLinuXino-4.3TS for my A20. I write the official DEBIAN image on my sd card and plugged my lcd on LCD_CON. Booted then i used change_display to fit my resolution. But i have nothing displayed on my lcd, it doesn't even seem powered.

How can i check if my lcd is working?

thanks

Hey,

Test with the previous Debian Wheezy release, instead of the latest Jessie one.

The resoltion for the 4.3 inch display is under the LCD menu - 480x272.

You might need a good power supply to power both the board and the display, do not count on powering both from the USB.

If possible test with another interface method - native HDMI monitor or a serial cable (to the debug pins) and a personal computer.

Best regards,
Lub/OLIMEX

Hello

I am running Debian Jessie, kernel 3.4.103 on A20-OLinuXino-MICRO-4GB with 4.3 TFT
All I had to do was run change_display.sh (its in /usr/bin folder)
