Title: Incorrect Image File Link on Olimex Web Site?
Post by: cybernox on March 17, 2016, 11:25:35 PM
Hi, I've a A20-SOM-EVB (A20-SOM Rev.D) board and just dowloaded the linux image file (A20_SOM_Rev_D_480MHz_DDR_debian_Jessie_34_103_2G_release_4.7z) with torrent.
I written the image on the SD card, put the SD-Card in the a20-SOM SD slot and powered on.
But the OS on this image is Android, no linux Debian 8. Could anyone share the correct image file?

Thanks.

No body has noticed this strange thing? I'm the only one with this problem?

Hey,

Does the same thing appear if you try the Wheezy release? This one: https://www.olimex.com/wiki/images/9/97/A20-SOM_Rev_D_debian_3.4.90_camera_release_3.torrent (https://www.olimex.com/wiki/images/9/97/A20-SOM_Rev_D_debian_3.4.90_camera_release_3.torrent)

If with the Wheezy image again you get Android loading instead of Debian - it might a problem with the way you prepare the card or the card itself.

Best regards,
