Title: A20 LIME2 suspend/wake broken in stock Olimex Debian 7 image
Post by: warelock on November 11, 2015, 09:34:10 PM
Is there a tested, known-working configuration of Debian that supports suspend-to-RAM (ACPI mode S3) and wake on RTC (after a specified amount of time) on any Olimex product? I have the A20 LIME2. I've checked the forums and it seems that this issue has come up again and again over the years, with no resolution. I'm currently using the latest, stock Debian 7 Wheezy image from Olimex and can't get suspend-to-RAM working. The "rtcwake -s 10 -m mem" command makes it suspend, but power usage does not drop, and it never wakes up. The UART-based serial console shows a kernel panic. I've also tried rtcwake with "-m on" to run in the background, with a separate pm-suspend command. That doesn't kernel panic, but power stays high and it never wakes up.

I don't think so.  Not in any AW Debian, I think.

You'd do better asking in a Debian place or linux-sunxi ML (as Olimex aren't likely to write the kernel software needed for any AW chips/boards).
