Title: Why my olinuxino A13 has only 256MB
Post by: Ted87 on October 23, 2015, 11:07:22 PM
I have Olinuxino which looks exactly as this one https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/A13/A13-OLinuXino/open-source-hardware (https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/A13/A13-OLinuXino/open-source-hardware). I mean 3 USB and no WI-FI.

However, on my serial console I have (also pay attention to last "M" Board: A13-OlinuXinoM ):

U-Boot 2013.01-rc1-04929-g1b9f6ab-dirty (Nov 22 2012 - 17:22:15) Allwinner Technology

CPU:   SUNXI Family
Board: A13-OlinuXinoM
I2C:   ready
DRAM:  256 MiB
MMC:   SUNXI SD/MMC: 0
In:    serial
Out:   serial
Err:   serial

Why I have 256mb of DRAM?

What are you booting?  Are you sure it's not built to look only for (or to assume only) 256MB?

Also, is it reserving any RAM?
