Title: A20-lime2 and mSata
Post by: sonny on September 17, 2015, 08:47:42 PM
Hello,

I have a A20-OLinuXino-LIME2-4GB

I'd like to use an mSata disk with it. mSata is 3.3v. Would it be safe to use one of the 3.3v pin on the GPIO to power the mSata?

Thanks

hard to answer because you did not tell how much current it consumes, and the power supply must be able to that current also and some extra for the board

No, your disk have supply current large than GPIO can provide
