I have the SHIELD-EKG-EMG, Rev C, plugged into an Arduino Duecimila, with a wall power supply (converter plugged into the power input of the Arduino board (I've tried 3 different power plugs, mostly 9v).

I've double/triple-checked the jumpers on the Olimex board - they're ALL what the manual says.

HELP! (Especially: WHAT does the red light, vs. the green light, on the Olimex board MEAN!?!?!?!?!?!

That's normal. User's Manual states:

On powering the board PWR LED must become RED.
