Howdy,

anyone know a source for the 3.7V/1400 mAh Lipo battery in the US? International shipping for Lipo batteries seems to becoming impossible for small quantities

Hello Oskar,

There are strict shipping regulations for rechargeable R&D batteries. The Li-Po batteries are considered dangerous and require specific certificates. Even if we wish we can't ship them to some countries.

Any electronics shop should have similar batteries (even with the same 2.0mm JST connector). Alternatively, you can check if a distributor has the battery in stock - the list of official Olimex distributors (focus on "Global" or "USA" labels) is here: https://www.olimex.com/Distributors/ (https://www.olimex.com/Distributors/).

There should be plenty of shops with lipo batteries.
