Title: micro sd slot broken (push-push)
Post by: jlucius on September 17, 2014, 04:37:23 PM
Hi

I just tried to exchange my micro-sd card on my a20-olinuxino with another but the card won´t stay in the slot anymore. It seems the push-push is broken somehow.

I can enter the card and if I hold it in play everything is fine, but the card is pushed out if not held.

Does anyone know how to possibly fix this?

Probably a bent switch. Happens with these sockets if you push in a card that isn't correctly seated. The best way to fix it is to get someone with a hot-air-rework station to remove and replace the socket.
If you're good and have some fine tweezers, you may be able to get any obstruction out of the way so that the card will stay in (won't push-push, but will at least stay in).
