Title: AVR-ISP-MK2 user manual suggests depreciated udev rule
Post by: Paul Moir on June 10, 2014, 08:48:32 AM
Just a quick note that the user manual for your AVR-ISP_MK2 programmer suggests putting in a udev rule using the depreciated SYSFS command, which no longer works in some of the later releases.  For example it does not work in Ubuntu 14.04.  It seems to me all you have to do is change "SYSFS" to "ATTR".
Another suggestion would be to mention the "firmware upgrade" button in the Linux instructions.  I know we're supposed to notice things like that and figure them out for ourselves but it would be a nice time saver.  :)

Thanks for the great programmer!

Hey Paul,

Thank you for the feedback!

These suggestions would be included in the next revision of the manual.

Best regards,
