Title: Can't use USB 3G dongle with A10s-4GB Android
Post by: kbro on January 07, 2014, 12:58:06 AM
I have a Vodafone K4505 USB dongle (aka Huawei E162E) that works with a WonderMedia WM8650 tablet running Android ICS 4.0.3, but when I plug it into my A10s-4GB board it isn't recognised by the Android 4.0.4 in the NAND - I just get an error message about the SD Card being faulty (the dongle has a slot for a uSD card but there isn't one in it).

The dongle still works with the WM8650 tablet so there are no hardware problems there.

Any suggestions?

I am not sure about your device, but I have a Huawei E1550 that also has a MicroSD slot in it.

To get this to work under Android, I had to disable the MicroSD slot. This was done with an AT command. You need to check if you can do the same with your modem?
