Title: Android freeze on A20
Post by: wiesel24 on December 29, 2013, 11:18:03 AM
Hi guys

I'm really new (noob) on this sector.

I got an annoying problem with my Olinuxino A20.

I flashed the Android image on my micro SD card with PhoenixSuit.
It seems that android is very unstable on this board. Sometimes it hangs after certain minutes (screen freezes with little sprites on it, no reaction to any input) or it boots up with a freeze. That is driving me nuts!

I don`t know how to fix this.

Any help?

Thanks

Hi
Thank you for your response!  :D

I use a 12v 1200mA power supply on the A20 power jack. Is that too less? The image is downloaded from the official wiki link for the A20 with Olimex 7" TS and SD-Card. I flashed it with PhoenixSuit as described in your manual.
I don't know what I've done wrong.

Other question:
Is there any plan in future to make a Android Image with external USB GPS Recivever support and external Bluetooth support? Would be great! Or is there any way to make that in an easy way for android without compiling the image from the scratch?

Same problem with android and a similar problem with the debian image. There the lightdm is crashing and there is no picture but the OS is working properly.
