Title: A20 hdmi/network
Post by: freagel on November 16, 2013, 12:33:36 AM
I bought an A20-OLinuXino-MICRO with debian https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/A20/A20-Debian-SD (https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/A20/A20-Debian-SD) SD card.
Upon booting I cannot see anything on my HDMI screen. It also does not connect to the network using dhcp, hence I cannot ssh into it. Is this normal?

It should be visible on hdmi.
Is it booting?  If so, then you should see a green LED on the board - if that doesn't light up, then the sdcard may not be correct.
The easiest way to see what's going on is to use the UART0 with a USB-RS232 converter to see the boot messages.

It boots and I got it running on a different monitor.
Thanks for the help!
