Title: Flashing Android image using LiveSuit 1.09
Post by: amarretta on August 06, 2013, 01:00:50 PM
Hi all,
I've bought A13 with NAND and WiFi.

by default it has flashed image for 800x600 display. I have a 800x480 display so I need to flash correct Android image.

I installed LiveSuit following link on Wiki page. I red instruction then I tried to flash downloaded image but I always get "Upgrade fails : 0x162".

I'm using an HP laptop running win7 64bit

What should I do?

Mine works fine, so I can't help there. There are some links - try Google. i.e:

Thanks Lurch

I red the thread at your link and I found what was my problem...

img file name...maybe too long?

I renamed "A13_android_NAND_LCD_800x480_EN_second_release.img" into "Original.img" and everything was fine at first attempt.

If I had known earlier..!!

Thank you

Glad it worked!
Good to know that the name length is a problem. Olimex often uses long names.
