Hi I have Olinuxino a13 wifi model.
And I want to connect A13 to another device using wifi-direct module.
But it seemed that a13 wifi model doesn't support wifi-direct. So I'll buy a wifi-direct module -RT5370.
If I buy wifi module, can I use it without any settings? Or should I edit some kernel device drive or something?
Not sure what you mean by wifi-direct,
I have a A13 with Wifi built in and it works fine.
I have to make A13 as server for socket communication between two device.
A13-WIFI has wifi inside but I cannot make server by itself, it just detect other wifi.
I need ad-hoc mode to make itself as server and I want to connect to a13 with other device.
That's what I need Wifi-direct for.
It would be much easier, if you would make your wifi gateway/router on your desktop PC. For example if you have Windows7, then it takes about 10 minutes to set up one.

or, you can find many similar lessons on the net. An then you can connect to it with your Oli, as usual.
Doing the same on Oli-Wifi card is a bit harder thing, but its possible of course. I don't think it depends on Oli's wifi chip or wifi driver, you don't need to buy anything, in my opinion. A good linux-networking guru-dude could explain the settings, I'm not good enough for this. But I'm interested as well.
I watch this topic :)
yeah I see. Thanks dude!
But I don't have any linux-networking guru dude.. TT
