I have problems making VPU work. After unsuccessful attempts of encoding I'm trying the decoder.
Both armhf and armel makes the system unresponsive. Sample uses decoder needs pmp video format. Which is very new to me. However I managed to create a sample file. Link is at the end of the post.
Anyone willing to test the encoder demo and post the results?
Also I noticed there is no /dev/mali file under my system. Even if I have the support as compiled into kernel or as a seperate module. If I compile as a separate module "modprobe mali" also makes my system unresponsive.
Is the problem specific to my hardware? Or it's common for all A13 olinuxino's.
