Hello,
I've bought the MOD-MP3-X module (https://www.olimex.com/Products/Modules/MP3/MOD-MP3-X/ (https://www.olimex.com/Products/Modules/MP3/MOD-MP3-X/)) but unfortunately I have not been able to find enough information to use it, even into the PDF user-document (https://www.olimex.com/Products/Modules/MP3/_resources/MOD-MP3-X-REV-D.pdf (https://www.olimex.com/Products/Modules/MP3/_resources/MOD-MP3-X-REV-D.pdf)). :(
Does anybody could help me to find these informations:
- Is it possible to interface the MOD-MP3-X with the A13-OLinuXino-WIFI (https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/A13/A13-OLinuXino-WIFI/ (https://www.olimex.com/Products/OLinuXino/A13/A13-OLinuXino-WIFI/)) and how?
- How to install, configure and use the user-
loadable Ogg Vorbis encoder? - Is it possible (and how) to configure the audio preamp to perform an automatic gain control?
- Is there any information about the audio quality of the A/D converter?
Big thanks in advance for any help! :)
Pierric
1. Probably not so easy, depending on what you want to do. If you set it up for Tx/Rx, you can use a ttyxx to send commands to import the directory and then pick songs to play. The question is, how are you planing to control it? From a program you write? From a script? Command line?
Problems here are that the directory output it sends is limited to 8 characters in length for the titles, so they aren't really that readable.
