Hello,
I have downloaded with Torrent the latest image as suggested in wiki
Debian Jessie release #10: A20-SOM Debian Jessie with kernel 3.4.103+ release 10
the file obtained from Torrent is
a20-SOM_mainline_uboot_GMAC_master_sunxi_kernel_3.4.103_jessie_NAND_rel_10.img
I have used windrive to make the SD, but when I power on the system nothing happen.
no console, the green led does not flashes, everything is dead.
Examining the script.bin file I see that the first two lines are
[product]
version = "100"
machine = "A20-OLinuXino-Lime2"
I saw that in the in the boot partition there is various folders that start
with script_<something>
There is one named script_a20-SOM. so I have copied the script present in this directory
in the root.
Same result everything dead.
I have reinserted the old SD, the system work as always and it is not broken.
To make the old SD I have done the same work.
The file downloaded from Torrent was
a20-SOM_Rev_B_mainline_uboot_GMAC_master_sunxi_kernel_3.4.103_jessie_NAND_rel_6.img
Examining the script file in this image it say
[product]
version = "100"
machine = "A20-SOM"
Did I miss something?
The board used are:
A20-SOM rev.D
A20-SOM-EVB rev.C
Thank you,
Dan
False alarm.
Yesterday I had problems with the dongle that I use to read/write the SD cards.
I have tried with another and everything works well.
In the boot there are two files script.bin and script.fex
Looking in the fex it say
machine = "A20-OLinuXino-Lime2"
But converting script.bin to fex with bin2fex
I can see in it the right declaration
machine = "A20-SOM"
Yesterday I have looked only in the script.fex without converting the bin
Thank you.
